Over and Out

So I’m pretty sure that target is a bad store for me. Everytime I walk in there I leave with probably 12 things! I have been explaining this to Lance, cause he really doesn’t understand how I can do that. But tonight was great.

 He needed to buy some jeans and so we went to target. I told him I was going to go look at makeup and that we would meet back up. After walking around the store for 30min trying to find lance, he turns the corner and has 4 items in his hands…..YES point made! And we not only left with stuff, we also left with a chi tea Latte to make it even better! haha. Hopefully he will understand now BUT probably not.

So for halloween this year I was a giant blow up flamingo. Actually let me post a picture cause really I was the person riding on the flamingo..

It was a blast and a bit cold. Lance was my zoo keeper… We were going to be M&M’s but after asking my boss if her kids had any  awesome costumes, the plan changed Thanks Penny! I hope everyone had a safe fun halloween!! Now its turkey time time flies

So I did a 2mile run in April, and now I am thinking I want to a 6 mile! I am going to research some different runs going on in Wichita and start training. I know it would be a long time to train, but I know my body and I know how lazy I can be. I feel like this will give me enough time to train and get used to it. So who knows, now that I wrote about it, I guess I gota do it!! haha

OH boy so I am jumping into the blogging world finally! I have no clue what I will write about or who reads these things, so here we go! I guess for my first blog I will write about the things I like. haha

I love my family! And no I don’t have kids yet, but I am talking about my dog! My husband and I got a Golden retriever 2 years ago and I can’t imgaine life without him! I know it sounds funny, but I swear this dog is half human.   

I love music! Some of my favorites are Dave Matthews band, John Mayer, Damien Rice, Adele….I could go on forever….I am thinking about starting piano up again. As a kid, I played piano for 7 years and then quit =/ And now I am married to a wizard who is amazing at piano…so I probably should start again.

I just started reading a new book for one of my classes at Wichita State, the book is called Lucia, Lucia. I love it so far and it will be really easy to write a paper over it! If you need a good book I recommend this one

I am not the best cook in the world, but I can follow a recipe and it usually turns out pretty good. On Facebook I just joined a group called easy peasy meals, which so far I love because they already have meals and stuff on there and they are pretty easy and tasty! So hopefully that will help with my lack of ideas for cooking.  

I love my family! Both of our parents live in town so that is nice! Sad thing our sisters both live in Topeka…but it makes it nice to visit at the same time.  We have 2 nieces and 1 nephew, Julie and Sean our my sisters kids (Evan and Sheri) and Lauren is lances sisters(Lyndi and Vince). We love them and enjoy playing with them!

I love to decorate! And I like it more when we have money to do so….boo money! My favorite part of fall is bringing our my fall candles and candy corn. Ahhh I could just sit forever with a book, coffee and my fall candles!

I am a big twilight fan. Whenever I have a bad day I pop in a twilight movie and it automatically makes me feel better! ha! I know it sounds pretty nuts but there is something about the love and the weirdness that draw me in….ok I’ll stop before I feel or turn into a nerd.

I like our new Chiminea! I even like to light it during a nice crisp day. It smells so good coming through the house! When we bought our house we had 13 trees in our back yard. We now have 11. So whenever there is a crazy storm we always have branches down. So the chiminea has been nice cause we can burn all of those. But I defiantly don’t like raking up all the leaves….=/ 

Last but not least I love my man. We have been married for 3 years now. When they say marriage is hard and has lots of bumps, I would raise my hand in agreeing with that. But I believe the things we have been through and going through made us stronger and  teach us things about each other.  We have a lot of fun together and enjoy most of the same things. Oh wait I don’t watch sports center for 2 hours straight…well wait I guess he doesn’t watch Twilight for 2 hours. So we are even.
